Magnetic Therapy History
Magnet therapy dates back to 2000 B.C. China. The Yellow Emperor Book Of
Internal Medicine. The applications of magnetic stones were used to correct
health imbalances, and were based on supportive evidence that had accumulated
over previous centuries. A well developed system of medicine on the premise that
health depended on the circulation of vital energies in the body through
prescribed pathways.
More recently, Dr. Ron Lawrence, M.D., P.H.D., Magnet Therapy, The Pain Cure
Alternative, did a study that involved measuring the blood flow through
plethysmography (pleth”iz-MOG’rah-fe). Blood volume was measured and charted in
the forefinger. When a magnet was placed on the wrist, he found a 300% increase
in blood volume in the forefinger after five minutes.
Magnet Therapy
Magnet therapy is available in all forms, shapes, sizes and strengths, as well
as permanent and non-permanent magnets. Magnets can be wrapped (knee and elbow
wraps) taped, shoe insoles and even slept on (magnetic mattresses). The MOST
EFFECTIVE and the simplest form are wearing them on your wrist. Nobody is going
to use wraps, tape, insoles or sleep on magnets 24 hours a day 7 days a week!
However, a beautiful, comfortable, waterproof, magnetic bracelet can be worn
24/7.
How They Really Work
Wearing strong magnets around your wrist increases 3 times more blood
circulation throughout your body.
We have 15 acupuncture points in each wrist. The points in your right wrist
stimulate your upper body following the trails, covering your right hand, wrist,
elbow, shoulder, middle back, upper back, neck and head.
The left wrist stimulates strong blood circulation to the left shoulder & arm as
well as lower back, hips, knees and lower body.
About 10% to 15% of people (more sensitive) can actually feel an increase in
their blood circulation immediately after using magnets. They experience a
tingling and warmth sensation. A clear indication “they really work.” For
those individuals that do not feel tingling, the magnets are still working. Most
people start to feel the difference within the first 24-48 hours; however it
could take quite a bit longer.
